Be Kind. Do Good. #projectlove

Advocates for Healthy Brains

We advocate for a world where it is just as easy to ask for help with depression as it is to ask for help with a broken arm. The stigma associated with anxiety, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, as well as other brain health issues is not only real, but acts as a barrier to seeking treatment. Every 12 minutes someone in the U.S. dies by suicide. Together, we can end suicide. It starts with honest dialogue, better education at home and in our schools, and increased compassion. No one should be afraid to ask for help. It will take more than love to end the stigma, but it's a good place to start.

The Benny Fund

The Benny Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving mental health and preventing suicide through advocacy and education. We strive to ensure mental health is spoken about openly at our dinner tables, in our schools, and as a community, while working to end stigma and silence. We do this through mental health advocacy campaigns, such as Benny's Run, #projectlove, and Stick it to Stigma, and by providing funding to mental health and suicide prevention education programs. Additionally, we award scholarships to high school students. Our message is one of hope and compassion. We are here to remind you that you are not alone.
