Would my sense of humor still get laughs or would people wonder if it was the product of a sick mind? More important, would people look at me differently or stop making jokes at my expense out of a fear of setting off the crazy person? I didn’t intend to find out. No way. I wasn’t “sick,” and I had nothing to talk about.”
